The TVFC Tube Fitting to VCR Nut Adapter, like Swagelok's VCR, Parker's VacuSeal, and Fujikin's UJR series, is widely used in industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, solar energy, nuclear energy, LED, TFT-LCD, petrochemicals, and biopharmaceutical production. Its ultra-cleanliness, high precision, leak-free performance under vacuum and high pressure, and long service life make it a critical component, especially in the delivery of ultra-clean gases (specialty gases). Depending on process requirements, customers can choose between BA-grade and EP-grade finishes. Additionally, three material options are available based on cleanliness requirements: 316L, 316L VAR (Single V), and 316L VIM + VAR (Double V).

Features of VCR Fittings:

1. Ultra-High Cleanliness: Standard surface polishing on tubes and fitting bodies achieves an average roughness of Ra 10 µin (0.25 µm) or Ra 5 µin (0.13 µm).

2. Excellent Sealing Performance: Metal face sealing ensures leak-free performance from vacuum to high-pressure conditions.

3. Wide Temperature Resistance: Metal gaskets can withstand temperatures up to 537°C (with SS316L gaskets).

4. Long Service Life: Internal threads of the nuts are silver-plated to prevent wear.

5. Enhanced Safety: Each nut end is designed with a test port for convenient leak testing after connection.

6. Space Efficiency: Installation and disassembly require minimal space.

Strict Manufacturing Process:

• Raw material inspection

• Fitting machining

• Mechanical polishing

• Repeated cleaning

• Electrolytic polishing

• Passivation

• Rinsing + Drying

The final cleaning and packaging are completed in a cleanroom, ensuring ultra-clean delivery to customers.

Structure and Working Principle:

The VCR fitting typically consists of 5 components:

1. 2 tubes

2. 1 male-threaded (external) nut

3. 1 female-threaded (internal) nut

4. 1 gasket

The sealing mechanism involves tightening the internal and external threads to compress the metal gasket, causing it to deform and create a leak-tight seal.

• For fittings using SS316L stainless steel or nickel gaskets, tighten the internal nut 1/4 turn with a wrench.

• For fittings using copper gaskets, tighten the internal nut 1/8 turn.

Note: Gaskets are single-use consumables and should not be reused.
